The California Department of Transportation announced the Bay Bridge westbound deck will be closed starting at 8 pm tonight until 5 am Tuesday. The closure will allow for traffic alignment, which will push vehicles away from the on-going construction
The upper, westbound deck of the Bay Bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. Extra ferries and overnight BART trains will operate during the closure.
